Carolina Maharbiz graduated from Cornell in 1999 with a B.A. in Art History. After working at a New York City law firm the year after graduation, she attended Yale Law School, graduating in 2003. She then returned to her hometown of Miami and worked as a law clerk for the Honorable James I. Cohn of the United States District Court for the Southern District of Florida. Upon completion of her clerkship, she joined the law firm of Akerman Senterfitt as a litigation associate. Currently, Carolina is employed at the law firm of Podhurst Orseck, where she works predominantly on personal injury, wrongful death, and product liability cases with a focus on aviation litigation.
